Am I eligible to vote? To vote, you must be:
- A United States citizen
- 18 years old by December 31st of the year in which you file your application form
- Live at your present address at least 30 days before an election
- Not be in jail or on parole for a felony conviction
- Registered

How do I register?  You may register in person or by mail.  Application forms are available at the Erie County Board of Elections, post offices, motor vehicle bureaus, various state offices and online.  You may also request an application form at 1-800-VOTE-FORM.  Click here for an online form.  Print out the form, fill it in, sign it and mail to the Erie County Board of Elections at the above address.  Your registration is permanent unless you move or neglect to vote for four years.
