Ellicott Square Building
295 Main Street
Buffalo, NY 14203
The Ellicott Square Building was built by Charles B. Atwood in 1896 with a “French Renaissance” style. At the time of construction, it was the largest office building in the world and it remains one of the most well known buildings in the City. Primarily office space, this mixed-use building features an atrium that lights up the interior and the mosaic floor below. Joseph Ellicott purchased the block the building rests on in 1803 and since then, the block has been known as Ellicott Square. For more information contact Joseph Paladino 716/854-0060
