Fireman's Park
Fireman’s Park
Washington Street to Ellicott Street between North and South Division Streets
Fireman’s Park was designed as a tribute to the contribution of Firemen. One of the symbols of the dedication is a fire hat positioned on top of the flagpole facing the fire station on South Division. The pathways of the park, which lead to the fountain, are in the shape of the Maltese Cross. This Cross is a symbol of protection, a badge of honor and an of the emblems of firefighters. This park is another example of a public space that makes Downtown a vibrant and diverse place to live.
