The Key Center at Fountain Plaza was built in 1990 as part of the Central Business District revitalization project. Standing 13 and 17-stories tall, it is located on the edge of the business and entertainment districts, bounded by Main, Pearl, and Chippewa Streets. In the summer, the plaza is a reflecting pool and during the winter months, the plaza is transformed into a ice skating rink, offering free skating daily.
