Jakob Dylan & The Gold Mountain Rebels
- Jakob Dylan is a singer songwriter and was
the lead vocalist of the band The Wallflowers.
Dylan is the son of folk rock musician Bob Dylan.
Jakob Dylan has now embarked on a solo career.

- Dylan's love for music began at a young age
when he was inspired by bands such as The
Clash. After a brief period of time spent in New
York at the Parson's School of Design, Dylan
returned to Los Angeles to dedicate himself to
his music.

- In 1990, Dylan formed the band which would
become The Wallflowers. They signed to Virgin
Records and released a debut album in 1992. The band began touring with 10,000 Maniacs, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Cracker and The Spin Doctors.

- After signing a new record deal with Interscope Records, The Wallflowers released the 1996 Bringing Down the House album. The album sold over four million copies and yielded several singles, including “6th Avenue Heartache” and “One Headlight.”

- Dylan won a 1997 Grammy Award for Best Rock Song for songwriting “One Headlight.” In addition, The Wallflowers won a 1997 Grammy Award for Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group for “One Headlight.”

- Dylan's first solo album, Seeing Things, is scheduled to be released in June 2008. The album is mostly acoustic and will contain ten tracks. Seeing Things will make the listener sit up and take notice as there is nothing one-dimensional about the album. Columbia Records and Starbucks Entertainment will co-release the debut.

- Dylan has announced his first solo tour in support of his new album. Along the way, Dylan & the Gold Mountain Rebels will be performing at various 2008 festivals including Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, Bumbershoot, Newport Folk and the new Rothbury Music Festival.
