The Irish Classical Theatre Company opens its 2012-2013 Season with the Broadway blockbuster, Next to Normal, through October 7th.  Winner of the Pulitzer Prize, nominated for eleven Tony Awards and winner of 3 including Best Original Score, Next to Normal is described by the New York Times as “a brave and breathtaking musical.”

Presented on a tiered, three-quarter thrust stage, the thrilling contemporary score will be played live by five musicians, the most that have ever performed on the stage of the Andrews Theatre.  In addition, ICTC is proud to introduce to the audiences of Western New York California-based actor Jason Watson, whose credits include the 1st National Tour of Next to Normal, as Dan.  Next to Normal tells the moving and heartfelt story of a suburban family and their well-meaning but flawed attempts to take care of each other and allow love the triumph over adversity.  The brilliant score soars as they strive to break the crippling chains of the past and walk freely into the light.

Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. with matinees on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.  Ticket prices range from $34.00 to $42.00.  Student tickets are available for just $15.00 with valid student ID.  The Andrews Theatre is located at 625 Main Street and for information and tickets, call the ICTC Box Office at 716/853-ICTC (4282) or visit
