Rotary Rink Closed for Season
March 11, 2010
Due to unseasonably warm weather conditions, Rotary Rink at Fountain Plaza will be closed for the remainder of the 2010 ice-skating season including Thursday, March 11th, Friday, March 12th, Saturday, March 13th and Sunday, March 14, 2010. Buffalo Place wishes to thank Downtown Buffalo and all of Western New York for another wonderful ice-skating season. Buffalo Place acknowledges the City of Buffalo for their support at Rotary Rink.

Rotary Rink opened in 1991, the result of 10 years of design and planning. The name Rotary Rink is derived in recognition of the Rotary Club of Buffalo’s commitment to the project and their generous donation of $500,000. 2009 - 2010 marked the 12th Annual free ice-skating season at Downtown Buffalo’s only outdoor ice rink. Located at the corner of Main and Chippewa Streets in Fountain Plaza, Buffalo Place operated Rotary Rink for the winter season. T
