Red Clay: The 2008 Buffalo Infringement Festival and American Repertory Theater proudly present a staged reading of the original full-length play, Red Clay, written by Matthew LaChiusa. The reading will take place on Monday, July 28th, from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at the Allendale Theatre and will feature Phil Knoerzer, Linda Stein, John Kaczorowski, Chris Standart, Jeffery Coyle and Anne Roaldi. In Red Clay, a railroad is caught between doing business the "good ol' way" and the forces placed upon it by a changing business world, a man who dreams of building a fortune but at any sacrifice, a southern boy with a fast train and a New York City woman who tries to balance love and ledger books. Will their dreams come true and passions play out or crumble into the red clay of Georgia? The Allendale Theatre is located at 203 Allen Street and for more information call 716/884-4858 or visit www.artofwny.org.
