The Arts Council in Buffalo & Erie County exists to nurture and advance all artistic disciplines and to encourage participation in the arts by all segments of the community.  The Arts Council is a primary advocate for the region's arts and cultural industry.  The Arts Council in Buffalo and Erie County offers its members grant funding for qualified artists and arts organizations, group rates for health insurance with ties to arts, culturals and tourism, on-going forums for member artists and arts administrators to voice professional concerns and much more.
