Cherish the Ladies
- Cherish the Ladies is Joanie Madden (flute, whistles, harmony vocals), Mary Coogan (guitar, banjo, mandolin), Mirella Murray (accordion), Roisin Dillon (fiddle), Michelle Burke (vocals) and Kathleen Boyle (piano). 
- Cherish the Ladies, who took their name from a popular Irish jig, were organized by folklorist musician Mick Moloney. 
- Founding member, Joanie Madden was the first American to win the Senior All-Ireland championship on the tin whistle.  She is the youngest member inducted into the Irish-American Musicians Hall of Fame.
- Cherish the Ladies began receiving recognition after becoming the first and only all-woman traditional Irish band.  They have a unique blend of instrumental talents, vocals and step dancing with turns them into a powerhouse group. 
- Cherish the Ladies have performed at as a group all over world.  They have performed with symphony orchestras, at art centers, folk festival and the White House. 
- On January 5, 2010, Cherish the Ladies celebrated their 25th anniversary of their first concert together.
