Jackie Greene
- Jackie Greene is an American singer-songrwriter, born in Salinas, California in 1980.  He developed an interest in music at an early age and has mastered the art of the guitar, piano and harmonica. 
- At the age of 14, Greene learned to play piano and guitar and shortly thereafter, began composing his own songs.  He recorded music in a makeshift garage studio and began selling his own CD’s.
- Greene used the money from selling his music to record and release his first full length album, Rusty Nails, in 2001.
- That same year, the owner of a local California music label, DIG Music, noticed Greene at an open mic session and signed him as the label’s first artist.
- 2002 brought the release of Greene’s first album on the DIG label, Gone Wanderin’.  The record won the California Music Award for Best Blues/Roots Album in 2003.
- In 2004, Greene released his third album, Sweet Somewhere Bound, which received radio play for the single, “Honey I Been Thinking About You.”
- The major record label, Verve Forecast, signed Greene in early 2005 and reissued Sweet Somewhere Bound that same year.  In 2005, the song “I Will Never Let Go” was used in the soundtrack for the movie Brokeback Mountain.
- Greene’s music has also been featured on episodes of the NBC series, Life and ABC’s Private Practice.
- October through November 2009, Jackie Greene played a series of shows with Gov’t Mule.
-  Jackie Greene is a captivating performer, whose soulful roots music works in any environment - from the small local music club to a noisy performing arts center.

- Performed at many major U.S. music festivals, including All Good, Gathering of the Vibes, Mountain Jam, South By Southwest Music Festival, Wakarusa and Bonnaroo
- Giving Up The Ghost was listed as one of the Top Albums of 2008 on Glide Magazine’s “The Glide 20”
