Ingrid Michaelson
- Ingrid Michaelson is a New York based indie-pop singer-songwriter.  She is talented in playing the guitar, piano and ukulele.
- Growing up in an artistic family, Ingrid began playing the piano at the age of five.  Ingrid went on to study theater in high school and college.
- After acquiring a degree in theater, Ingrid began touring with a national theater group.  She spent time writing songs while on tour and eventually independently produced the album, Slow The Rain.
- A few of Ingrid’s songs were on several episodes of the hit television show Grey’s Anatomy in 2006.
- In 2007, Ingrid won a national songwriting contest sponsored by Mountain Stage which is a radio program distributed worldwide. 
- The single, “The Way I Am,” made headlines in Old Navy commercials which prompted talk of Ingrid becoming country music’s next most promising independent artist.  Much of Michaelson’s success has been attributed her exposure on both television commercials and shows.
- Ingrid worked alongside producer Dan Romer for her 2009 release of Girls and Boys.
- Michaelson comprised a few live recordings and some new songs for the 2008 release of Be Ok.  In support of the album, which was a benefit project, she joined the Hotel Care Tour.  The proceeds from the tour went to cancer research.
- Everybody, which was released in 2009 was followed by a cross-country tour.
- In May 2010, Ingrid supported The Barenaked Ladies for five shows.
- While enjoying success in the world of music, Ingrid Michaelson has yet to sign with a major label.  With her fan base continually growing, there is no sign of her slowing down.
