- The Ryan Montbleau Band is Ryan Montbleau (acoustic and electric guitars, vocals), Jason Cohen (piano, organ, clavinet, Rhodes, Moog), Matt Giannaros (acoustic bass, electric bass and back-up vocals), Laurence Scudder (viola and back-up vocals), James Cohen (drums) and Ted Wilson (tuba, harpsichord).
- Montbleau received his first guitar at the age of nine but did not seriously take an interest in playing until he was in college.
- After college, Montbleau began performing at the local coffee shops and folk venues in Boston. He joined forces with the current line up of the Ryan Montbleau Band and released their first collective album, One Fine Color, in 2006.
- At the time of the debut release the band was playing more than 200 dates a year coast-to-coast. One Fine Color sold more than 10,000 copies.
- Stages: Volume II was recorded during a five-city solo tour in the northeast.
- As they have toured relentlessly, the band has developed a following throughout the country.
