The Buffalo Transportation/Pierce-Arrow Museum, a non-profit educational institution, is located at 201 Seneca Street near the Elm St. Exit of the I-190. The 20,000 square foot building is filled with automobiles, motorcycles, parts and accessories, focusing on Buffalo transportation history. Featured are Pierce-Arrow autos, bicycles, motorcycles and cars manufactured by distinguished automakers of Western New York including Thomas Flyer. James T. Sandoro, museum founder/trustee, nationally known collector and car expert has accumulated thousands of items in more than 40 years of collecting. Also on display are muscle cars, a ’57 T-Bird, a ’38 Bugatti, a 66’ Mustang (900 original miles), a ’67 Cougar, a ’63 Chevy 409, a ’62 Plymouth 413 Race Car and much more.
