Sail Buffalo Sailing School and Club Boat Share offers Buffalo's only nationally accredited sailing education (ASA), unlimited access to sailboats for club members, ongoing educational opportunities and a place for you in the sailing community!  The goal of Sail Buffalo is to train people to be safe, confident sailors and to provide on-water access, continuing education and social networking to the Sail Buffalo club members.

Sail Buffalo, the former Ship Ahoy! Sailing School has been based out of Lake Erie’s shorelines for over 6 years and strives to make sailing affordable, accessible and fun for everyone!  Sail Buffalo runs American Sailing Association certification courses starting with Basic Keelboat 101 through 105 on weekends, weekdays and weekday evenings from May to October. 

Sail Buffalo also offers free sailing lessons for children age 7 - 17 on Saturday mornings in the summertime.  Kids can spend their Saturday mornings learning important lessons through sailing and weather permitting, students will enjoy a sailing adventure on Lake Erie, giving them a chance to steer the boat, trim the sails and begin a life long interest in the outdoors!
