Places of Worship
Many of the buildings that line the streets of Downtown Buffalo date back in history, including most Places of Worship. The certificate of incorporation for St. Paul’s Cathedral is dated February 10, 1817. Founded in 1850, Temple Beth Zion is one of the oldest and largest Reform congregations in the nation. With award-winning music programs, amazing architecture and faithful patrons, all of Downtown Places of Worship impact the community and the world. Last year, Paul Moravec, a choirboy from St. Paul’s Cathedral, won a Pulitzer Prize for Music. Whatever your denomination, Downtown Buffalo has a Place of Worship that will suit you.
